Reflecton #5

Our King is the perfect Lover, and He wants us to love Him back.
Song of Solomon 2:4
He has taken me into the banquet hall, and his banner over me is Love.

Reflection #4

We have to trust the King in everything. This is harder than we think a lot of the time. Just remember that He knows what He's doing way better than we do.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future!"

Reflection #3

The King will heal us and help us forgive. It may take a little while sometimes, but we have to trust
Him that He's doing what He promised.
Isaiah 58:8
If you do these things, God will shed His own glorious light upon you. He will heal you.....

Reflection #2

The King has not left us alone in this life. There are others in this Kingdom who serve with us.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Reflection #1

We are a part of a rescue team to find all the King's people who are lost from the Kingdom. It started two-thousand years ago and will continue until the Day of the King!
Colossians 1:13
For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves.

Welcome

This blog is just a place for me to reflect on God's Kingdom and life in it. If you've never thought of being a Christian that way, I hope this will help you think about it and grow closer to God as a result. This world is not our home, we are waiting for the tangible Kingdom of God to come. For now, though, we are the visible members of an invisible Kingdom.
